For the Student and the User

You can choose a support language from 10 available options. The language selection also supports Finnish speakers in learning new languages.

The default language of the application is spoken Finnish.
The phrases in the Suomipassi are selected based on the spoken language of Southern Finland.

You will hear six different ways of speaking, as everyone speaks Finnish in their own way.

Once a phrase has been listened to once, it will appear in green. If the speaker icon is gray, it means the phrase has not yet been listened to.

You can listen to phrases by pressing the play button next to the phrase.

The speed and volume of the phrase can be adjusted.

You can search for a suitable phrase using the search function, which helps you quickly find the phrase you need.

You can mark a phrase as a favorite by pressing the heart icon.

After that, the phrase will appear in the Favorites category, and a heart icon will be shown next to the phrase.

This way, you can quickly find the phrases that are important to you!

When you’ve spoken Finnish, you can give yourself a stamp. The stamp will be saved on the map as a Suomipassi logo.

If you don’t want the stamp to be saved on the map, you can disable this default setting in the app settings. Accidental stamps can also be removed.

How did the speaking go?
